  Classic Rock Advertising Account/Hometown Broadcasting of Portsmouth 2, Inc.

This position will be responsible for representing our Portsmouth, Ohio based Classic Rock station to existing and prospective advertising accounts in southeastern Ohio and northeastern Kentucky.

The individual being considered for this position must demonstrate self-starting abilities; and natural enthusiasm for initiating and developing business contacts. Must make in-person presentations on behalf of our Classic Rock station's advertising offerings.  Will assist in dispersing pertinent  Classic Rock advertising sales materials via e-mail; fax;  in person; and by mail. Prior telemarketing skills a real plus.

Compensation is a combination of base salary, commensurate with experience, and commission percentage of sales production. Typical annual income, based on production and experience, can range from $24,000 to $30,000 and up. Economic conditions in the market can influence income range.

Representative will be responsible for successfully monitoring collection activity of all assigned accounts, in conjunction with input from senior management. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.  Professional attire required for daily work.

Must possess good people skills for interaction with customers and support staff within the company. Must be able to think quickly and provide solid customer service in all business transactions on behalf of the company. Drug free, smoke free company environment. Limited travel required. Media sales experience a definite plus; knowledge of Classic Rock radio even better; training provided. Basic computer skills required.
